                                   " Transition"

Once again it has been months in between my postings.  So many different things have happened in our family. A new Grandson has arrived, causing me to be very busy helping with the grandchildren. I have been posting most on my Facebook page:
It seems that is where I get most of my traffic.

I have created  a few new pieces:

Royal Rose

Star Stretch Bracelet

Jasper Love

Fancy That

Daisy Sparkle

Simple Beauty

Details of all these can pieces can be found on my Etsy sit on my side bar.

Before I did jewelry, I had my hands making primitives . I have owned shops , did wholesale and managed shop for someone. Lately I have been doing them again. That has kept me busy also. I have made pantry boards for Pantry Farm items and Stitchery .

Pantry boards; done in many other colors.
Just a few shown.

                                        Trumpeting Angels

Lighted Scoop with Grapevine

Santa Ornaments

Chippy Layered Stars

These are just a few things that have kept me busy lately. So for the Holiday Season , I am giving away another little part of my handiwork. Drawing for these 2 Jolly fat men! Sweet little guys to stand on their own or add to a wreath  or put in a bowl with your candle fixings.

Drawing will be Friday, Dec. 5.
Just leave a comment to enter!

                                                      Merry Christmas !

It has been a few months since I written a post. It seems that most of my writings have been on my Facebook page.  Trying to keep up with that and Etsy , besides creating, as well as keeping up with a household has kept me quite busy. With Fall right here , changes always come. I welcome it! In this household , our little grandson is about to get a new baby brother!  We await! It will be soon!

I have been getting some new beads. I went to a Flea Market last week in Hillsville , VA. The whole town was a Flea Market. My husband & I walked for 9 hours and still did not get over the whole thing. Much to my surprise, there was a bead man there who had great lovelies! I have been creating a few things with my finds. Below is one creation:

                                  Earring Sale!

As you can see, I am not posting much on my blog. Facebook has taken precedent over most of my social media.  I am also creating much more.  I think that in the future I will try to post at least once a month.

Speaking of creating, I have been making many new pieces. I have made a colorful necklace for "someone" who lives in Texas. I say that because  the piece centers around a vintage piece that I picked up while treasure hunting one day. It says:

                                       " Texas Power"

Made with the Colour's of the Southwest. Turquoise, Carnelian, Red Jasper, African sand cast beads, Agate, Czech Glass, Vintage Rhinestone pieces, Amazonite, are a few  the beads that make up this piece.

I have been creating several new pairs of earrings!

                                         " Lady Mary's"

Sweet vintage pieces that have a wonderful patina. The vintage pieces were found in a warehouse full of vintage "findings." Tiny blue rhinestones enhance the "findings." Smoky Quartz is sandwiched between soft blue Swarvoski Crystals.

Tropical colors are reminded of in this pair of earrings. Beautiful czech glass  pieces with soft beige Swarvoski Crystal in between . Brass clips and bead caps.

"Somewhere in Time"

Very Vintage! The brass lockets were found in a warehouse with Vintage findings also.  They open to display your pictures of your "favorite one." The gold bead is vintage also that is on sterling wire. The big rhinestone at the top is from a pair of screw back earring from the 40's-50''s era.

Pretty in pink! Tiny watermelon Tourmaline are the top hoops that are attached to sterling wires. A delicate pink opal connects the piece to small rhinestone pot metal flowers.

"Royal Affair"

Tanzanite on a vintage rhinestone piece is separated with tiny rhinestone rondelles. Iolite teardrops dangle from the bottom. Sterling oxidized wires and earrings.

I continue to make new earrings every day.  Please check my etsy page to see what is NEW! Thank you for stopping by!

I have been absent  from the blogging world for awhile. I have been so busy doing life's little things. I also have  been working on a piece that has taken quite awhile to do.  My daughter calls it "Regal."

The vintage copper piece that I posted about months back, I began to play with it. Not very experienced in Ice Resin, I thought I would take a "swing" at it. I started out with a French Script background  and attached an "orphan" rhinestone clip earring.  I added a little bit of "sparkle" around the edges.  Two tiny Swarovski Crystals are added to the frame.

Using a vintage chain, and gemstones such as Sunstone, Quartz, Rose Quartz, Peruvian Pink Opals, Fluorite, Rice Pearl, glass pearls, Amazonite, Mother of Pearl,Czech Glass, Swarovski Crystals other copper findings. I made the toggle using a finding that I have wrapped with tiny beads and hammered out the other end.

So many hours , in this piece. I have decided to keep this piece as my own.  If someone is interested in this piece, I can make something similar, but will not be exactly, because being vintage pieces, they are a one time find for me. Fortunately for me, when I bought the copper frame, I did get several in the packet from a Vintage warehouse.

I have also done several pairs of earrings since last posting. On my sidebar now is my etsy shop. I have also joined another site called "veganunite.com" that sells my wares.    Here are the earrings:

                  " Sweet Innocence"

I hope everyone is enjoying the lovely Spring weather. It has been beautiful here in the south. The wild Wisteria has begun to come out in all her beauty. Unfortunately , when that appears so does the green dust or  better known as the "pollen." I first started noticing it yesterday on our vehicles. Today it is raining, so hopefully it will wash it ALL away.

I have been working on a few projects. I am one to have many projects going on at the same time. I have just finished a necklace that is called "Sweet Innocence." My daughter actually looked at the piece and gave it the name. She  spoke of it's lovely feminine accents for every occasion.  Do you other jewelry creators name your pieces?  By the time you are finished with a piece do you feel like it has a personality?

Introducing "Sweet Innocence."  The necklace consist of a vintage flower pendant dotted with little tiny white flowers highlighted with Rhinestones, pink Peruvian opals, Pineapple quartz, Aventurine, Alabaster, Amazonite, Mother of Pearl, Amethyst, Flourite,Swarvoski Crystals to name a few.  If any of you are familiar with Miriam Haskell pieces , there is a lovely vintage flowering piece from her as well. Please stop by my shop to see "Sweet Innocence" in full.

                         "Spring Sale"

Spring has some in all it's beautiful "colours" here in the south.  We have begun planting herbs and vegetables around the house to start  our little garden produce.  I look forward to going outside;  picking greens to make a nice salad or basil for pesto.

With Spring , also come some cleaning. On the shop page,  I have put a few things on Sale. Please take a peek.

Look for some new creations soon!

Bead Show

It has been a little while since I last posted. There is much going on in my life. I am going to be a "Mam-maw" for the second time . I have been busy spending precious time with our Grandson. He is a little over 2 1/2 years old. Very smart and everyday he is learning NEW things. He is just adorable! In the fall he will have a new sibling. We are all pretty excited about it as you can imagine!

This past weekend, I did something NEW . I went to my first bead show. My"partner in crime" (I'll call her) and I attended one here in the Charlotte area

We had the most wonderful time! We spent the entire day shopping, drooling, and coming up with all kinds of ideas as we went from table to table. I must admit we did pick up  some nice "lovelies". You will see them in future pieces. There was an exhibitor there that sold vintage pieces, like findings, cabochons, etc .  We fell in love with that table of things.  We got many things from them. Here is one piece that I found. I fell in love with it immediately and knew I had to have it. What do you think of it? What would you do with this piece if it were in your possession????? It is copper.  Very ornate as you can see.Yes, those are holes all around it to add much "pretties " to it. What would you make????????? I would love to hear your suggestions.

I have made a couple of pieces since I last wrote.  First I made this "Spring" bracelet  that I call "Bloom." It is made from a Vintage brass broach , enameled and has a soft blue flower in the center. I have added three strands of beads to it. Consisting of  more little blooms. You can check out my shop page for the details.

I also made this petite small Garnet earrings with little rice pearls. The rice pearls were from a vintage bracelet that was too small for my arms. They are in the shop also.

I hope to not stay away as long with the next blog writing. Would love to hear your suggestions for the piece. Till next time.........
